Kieran Locke was a bright, loving, strong, happy guy. He loved animals, Minecraft, Mario, playing with his sister, riding bikes, swimming, playing at the beach, and telling a good joke.

He could tell you everything about all kinds of animals. His favorite animals included Komodo dragons, axolotls, Ankylosaurus dinosaurs, toucans, and pandas. He was also fascinated by sugar gliders, slow loris, pigmy marmosets, and dung beetles, and everything else on Zoo TV.

Kieran loved to be with his family and play outdoors. We remember him with his Southern California / surfer long blond hair, and a love of shorts (shirts optional), beanies, and UGG boots. Always laughing and joking, he was a delight to be around.

On February 11, 2021, Kieran was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He valiantly and bravely fought cancer without a complaint, and always with a smile. Our hearts shattered and our lives forever changed when he passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 7:30AM from an opportunistic infection.  His huge heart and strong spirit fought until the very end. He was surrounded by love and family and will forever live in our broken hearts.
